Peskov: Putin to share view of Russia’s further development

MOSCOW, Feb 21 (PRIME) -- President Vladimir Putin will assess Russia’s current economic situation and share his view of the country’s further development in his Tuesday address to the Federal Assembly, spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

“The hostile reaction of the collective West that followed has lain as a heavy burden on the shoulders of our country, our economy. And another large part will evidently be devoted to the way we have dealt with it,” Peskov said.

“The president will give his appraisal of how our economy has evolved, how it has managed to resist, to withstand. … (Putin) will give his view of how we will move forward. … And there is no doubt that we will,” Peskov said.
